In the nostalgic and picturesque village of Winkel, centrally located just of the provincial road N242 and between the highways A7 and A9 lies Golf & Country Club Regthuys. In September of 2006 Golf and Country club Regthuys opened their 9 hole Par 3 Golf course and driving range. In 2007 the first 9 holes designed by well known golf course and landscape architect Alan Rijks were opened. The golf course building company AHA de MAN has been responsible for building the course. They have been recognized for their work at the courses, de Lage Vuursche, De Noordwijkse, Het Rijk van Nunspeet, Het Rijk van Nijmegen and De Goyer. Regthuys has been received with open arms because of its accessibility, high quality and its easy going character. In the first year it was rewarded with an 11th place of the best 9 hole courses in the Netherlands. Currently Regthuys is a 12 hole golf course. In June 2012 Regthuys will be a fully developed 18 hole, par 71 golf course. At this moment you can play a very challenging yet rewarding 12 holes and if 12 holes are not sufficient you are welcome to play a second round of golf. Regthuys is an innovative parklands course that responds to the needs of today's golfer. It is a “feel good” course where all levels of golfers will be able to complement their score with pars and birdies. The distinctive doglegs, characteristic blind shots and the dangerous water hazards will keep you alert. 'The Longest hole in Europe has been opened at Golf and Country club Regthuys, A par 6, 704 meters! "• The 275 meter driving range, covered bays, challenging targets and good practice facilities are all free of charge. • The 9 holes of the par 3 course vary in distance between 60 and a 130 meters with a spectacular island hole. These holes will help enhance the fun of the novice golfer and you are able to start practicing immediately. • The 12 hole layout which holds an “A-status“ including a 704 meter par 6 is challenging and exciting with exclusive features such as seashell beaches, cactus, palm and olive trees. • After your round of golf you can relax on our terrace which is surrounded by seashells and palm trees. The clubhouse offers a lay - back beach house atmosphere. • There are variety possibilities for companies and groups. |
